Big Brother - Week 1 - Eviction

It's eviction night!  Before we get the live feed, we get a recap of what happened since the POV competition and ceremony.

The Veterans were trying to get Adam, Shelley and Cassi on their side so they would have the numbers.  Their approach - play the social game.  They hang out with all the other HG's and play dumb games to make them look more "likable".  Apparently Rachel gets a little drunkie and calls Brendan (across the lawn) by his pet name "Bookie".  Brendan gets pissed and they argue - really?  You're arguing over a pet name?  They annoy me more than anything.  Brendan is concerned about how people look at their relationship and think it's a joke...gee, I wonder why.  Maybe because you're a big d-bag and your fiancé is the most annoying person on planet Earth and you argue over "Bookie"???  Things that make you go "Hmmm".

The Vets continue to try and work the Newbies, mostly Adam, in trying to get the votes on their side.  They figure since Adam is such a BB fan, they could win his vote by letting him name the "alliance".  He comes up with "Adam's Angels"...lame.

Onto the live feed: Julie tells the HG's that Evil Dick left them a message.  Basically, Dick had to leave for a "personal emergency" but everything is okay.  Weird.  Julie then puts Danielle on the spot and asks her if she loves her dad...come on Julie!!  In other news, Porsche is wearing a teddy for eviction night.

Voting begins:

HOH Competition is a golf game that kind of reminds me of a mix between putt-putt and the arcade game where you "bowl" the balls down a ramp and they land in slots (not skeeball).  Dominick and Kahlia both get their ball in the "6" and are tied.  Then Jordan lands hers in the "3" and only Jeff and Brendan are left to putt.  Jeff basically "drives" his ball across the yard and Brendan putts his directly into the sand trap.  Jordan is now the new HOH!  Fake hugs all around!!!
